Challenge:
Increased awareness of the bank’s investment products through media coverage with no budget for advertising.

Solution:
Placement of the issue of tax-optimised investment products as editorial content.
Drafting of background information, identification of news angles and continuous liaison with the relevant press.

Result:
Within two years more than 150 news articles were printed in all important national newspapers and financial and business magazines such as Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, Welt am Sonntag, Die Welt, Der Tagesspiegel, Handelsblatt, Börsen-Zeitung, Süddeutsche Zeitung and Focus. The head of private banking has been established as an expert in the area of tax-related investment products and is now a regular participant on phone-in sessions for national newspapers.

Placement of the innovations of New Zealand health IT companies such as ORION Health Ltd., ARANZ Medical Ltd. And Chiptech Ltd as editorial content in relevant specialised publications and the public/consumer press in Germany.

Result:
Extensive coverage in both German and European publications directed to physicians including European Hospital, Ärzte-Zeitung, Medical Press, Hospital Post and Deutsche Ärzteblatt.The NZTE had been awarded the World Trade Promotion Organization Awards 2009.
